1. If all attempts resulted in death, suicide would be the #1 cause of death.

2.  For every suicide, there are up to 25 attempts.

3.  Suicide is the 4th leading cause of death for adults 18-65.

4.  Suicide is the 3rd leading cause of death for teenagers.

5.  The highest suicide risk group is age 65+, especially males over 85.

6.  Suicides rates for men & women are both highest between the ages 45-54.

7.  More people aged 18-65 die from suicide than from HIV or Diabetes or Lung
